Turkish scrap market sentiment improves following US bookings
Sentiment in Turkey’s imported scrap market has improved from last week following Turkish mills’ fresh US-origin scrap bookings since Friday.
Four US-origin bookings have been concluded in the Turkish market since Friday. Two bookings were done on Friday at $410/tonne for HMS 1&2 80:20 and $430/t for bonus grade, as well as at average $428/t cfr Turkey for shredded and bonus.
