UAE December wire rod prices align with rebar
Emirates Steel Arkan (ESA), the sole fully integrated mill in United Arab Emirates, has set its December-delivery 6.5-14mm diameter AISI/SAE 1006-1008 grade wire rod domestic market quote at AED 2,260/tonne ($615/t) ex-mill, Kallanish learns from market sources. For deliveries to clients in Abu Dhabi, transportation incurs an $8/t extra charge.
ESA charges for grade AISI/SAE 1005 and 5.5mm dia an extra AED 35/t and AED 36.75/t, respectively.
