Emirates Steel Arkan (ESA) has increased its January-delivery 6.5-14mm diameter AISI/SAE 1006-1008 grade wire rod domestic market quote to AED 2,380/tonne ($648) ex-mill or AED 2,399/t ($652/t) cpt Dubai. This is based on letter-of-credit (LC) 90 days after delivery, Kallanish learns from market sources.
The company charges for grade AISI/SAE 1005 and 5.5mm dia an extra AED 35/t and AED 36.75/t, respectively.
