UAE retail rebar price range widens
In the United Arab Emirates retail market, the gap in prices between Emirates Steel (ESI) and other mills' rebar has widened to AED 60-100/tonne ($16.3-27.2).
This comes after local re-rollers' ex-works and Omani mills’ delivered to buyer's yard credit-basis prices softened to AED 2,370-2,380/t from AED 2,400-2,425/t. Some transactions were even concluded at AED 2,350/t ex-works on a cash basis.
