US loses 3 rigs, Canada drops 1
The US and Canada each lost rigs this week, Kallanish learns from energy services company Baker Hughes.
For the week ended 5 August, the US count equals 764 rigs. Meanwhile, in Canada, the rig count is now 203. These figures represent an increase of 273 rigs for the US over the equivalent period last year, and an increase of 47 rigs for Canada.
