US raw production creeps up on-week
US raw steel production inched up on-week in the week ended 11 March, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
Production reached 1.677 million short tons during the week with a capability utilisation of 75%, up 0.8% from the previous week, when utilisation was 74.4%, and down 1.9% from the equivalent week last year, when utilisation was 78.7%.
