US rebar market begins September quietly
The US rebar market remains quiet at the beginning of September after participants returned from an extended holiday weekend, with speculators keeping a close eye on domestic scrap prices as this month's trading begins.
According to a northeastern US rebar distributor, pricing remains flat this week with lessened activity in the market due to a lengthened three-day weekend for the Labor Day holiday.
