US rebar prices hold to end May
Market players in the US rebar market remain optimistic that strong demand will continue to keep pricing afloat throughout the summer, despite the pricing outlook for some other steel products turning sour.
According to a Northeastern US rebar distributor, the short-term outlook for domestic rebar demand remains positive with several market conditions remaining favourable, such as the recent infusion of federal spending and a limited supply of available product.
