US rebar pricing holds firm through January
Domestic rebar pricing in the US remained stable throughout January, despite growing indications of volatility in the market.
According to a Northeast distributor, the decline in scrap prices this month has not yet impacted domestic rebar prices. In January, scrap prices have fallen in the US by around $50-60/gross ton, depending upon the grade and region.
