US rebar pricing holds steady on week
US rebar pricing remained stable last week, though import pressure appears to be ratcheting up, Kallanish hears from market sources.
Kallanish held #4 rebar in 20-foot sticks on Tuesday at $600-620/short ton, level with the previous week. All prices are ex-works, domestic mill.
One buy-side source says that a large trader has purchased a potentially telling quantity of rebar for a project in the Northeast.
