US rebar pricing stalls ahead of Independence Day
Rebar pricing in the US has slowed ahead of the Fourth of July holiday weekend, as buyers remain wary of purchasing in case of falling prices in the coming weeks.
"Nothing much has changed this past week ... [Purchase] offers have quieted down ahead of the Fourth of July holiday. Mills' production levels are up, but they're struggling to keep up to the growing levels of demand," the distributor explains.
