US scrap market sees diverging pricing

Scrap prices, which began to settle last week in the US, are seen to have recorded different trends depending on the region, Kallanish finds. Although trading continued in a few regions on Monday, Chicago mills paid $10/gross ton higher from September prices for shredded scrap and $20/gt lower for busheling.
