Vale, Chinese companies explore carbon reduction in steelmaking
Brazilian iron ore producer Vale, and China's Sangang Group and Xiamen ITG Holding Group have signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly seek steelmaking solutions to reduce carbon dioxide emissions.
The three companies will explore Sangang's iron ore supply solutions and develop customised iron ore products for Sangang, Kallanish learns. At the same time, they will also explore the possibility of cooperating in the mineral processing business.
