Vale prioritises pellet output at Oman plant
Brazilian miner Vale's Oman subsidiary saw iron ore pellet production increase in the third quarter by 29.8% on-year and 7.4% on-quarter to 2.8 million tonnes. By contrast, Vale’s consolidated pellet production in Q3 shrank 4.8% on-quarter and 1.1% on-year to 8.25mt, Kallanish observes.
