VIZ-Stal modernises coating lines to improve surface quality
Russia-based transformer steel producer VIZ-Stal, part of NLMK, is modernising its electrical steel strip insulating coating (AEIP) units at the cold rolling shop, Kallanish notes.
The work is part of a strategic programme to improve the quality of transformer rolled products. Total investment in the project is estimated at RUB 730 million ($9.2m).
