Walsin Lihwa aims for nickel capacity expansion
Walsin Lihwa’s board of directors has decided to acquire a 29.5% shareholding in PT Westrong Metal Industry in Indonesia by means of capital increase.
The transaction is valued at $146 million, Kallanish notes. According to the shareholding ratio, the company could expand its pure nickel metal capacity to 84,000 tonnes/year after the equity transfer.
