Weekly US steel production ticks up on-week
The American Iron and Steel Institute reports US steel production was 1.77 million short tons and the capacity utilisation rate was 80.9% for the week ended 2 July. This is a 1% increase for the week ended 25 June, as monitored by Kallanish.
