World ironmakers cut pig iron output in June
The world's ironmakers produced less pig iron in June, keeping the half-year total also down on-year. At 110.1 million tonnes, June output fell 5.2% on-month and 3.8% on-year, pushing January-June output down 5.5% on-year at 651.3mt, Kallanish learns from worldsteel data.
