Zaporizhstal increases steel, pig iron output in April
Ukrainian flat steel producer Zaporizhstal, partially owned by Metinvest, increased crude steel production in April compared to March, the company says.
It produced 252,100 tonnes of crude steel, up 36.5% on-month, Kallanish notes. Pig iron output also increased by 19.7% to 231,800t, while rolled steel production was up 36.5% to 205,100t.
