Zekelman blames Mexico for California plant closing
Chicago-based Zekelman Industries is shuttering its Long Beach, California, steel conduit facility - a move it blames on imports from Mexico, Kallanish learns from a company release.
The facility produced conduit under the Western Tube and Wheatland Brands. Henceforth, extant customers will be served by the company’s Rochelle, Illinois, facility and related West Coast service centres.
