Zinc Resources has received approval from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) to recycle electric arc furnace (EAF) dust at its facility in Victoria, Texas. The company notes that this approval was in accordance with the Environmental Protection Agency’s 2018 solid waste ruling, indicating that it is the first to receive approval to recycle EAF dust as a hazardous secondary material in the state of Texas.
