Morocco returned to boost Turkey’s billet exports on-year in November 2020, but they declined sequentially as Latin American buyers were absent.

The average price of HS code 720711 billet was $420/tonne in November versus $366/t in November 2019 and $419/t in October 2020.

In January-November Turkish overall semis exports slumped -52% on-year to 583,200t.

Turkish rebar exports meanwhile rose 48% in November to 631,041t, but 11-month shipments abroad were still down -3.4% to 5.02 million tonnes (see Kallanish passim).
