Canada offers AUD 400m to Australian rare earths project
Australian Strategic Materials (ASM) is in discussions to secure up to AUD 400 million ($260m) from Export Development Canada for its Dubbo rare earth project.
The mine is located near the Australian town of Toongi, in central-western New South Wales. The plan is to convert oxides into metals and alloys in metals plants in strategic locations, including a facility in South Korea’s Ochang province.
