Guoxing Lithium breaks ground on lithium carbonate project in Jiangxi
China’s Xinyu Guoxing Lithium is starting a 10,000 tonnes/year battery-grade lithium carbonate project at the Fengyi Industrial Park, Xinyu City, Jiangxi Province, Kallanish learns.
The company expects to invest CNY 1.2 billion ($168.33 million) to build the plant, which will have spodumene concentrate as feedstock, in 12 months.
After reaching full production, the project will be able to supply lithium carbonate for about 200,000 new energy vehicles.…
