MinRes drops Poseidon nickel plant acquisition plan
Australian miner Mineral Resources (MinRes or MRL) has terminated the planned acquisition of Poseidon Nickel’s Lake Johnston nickel concentrator and tenures in Western Australia.
Poseidon received a notice from MinRes on 8 May, ending a binding heads of agreement the two companies signed in March. The company said it was considering the notice and would provide further updates “as necessary,” Kallanish learns from a regulatory filing.
