Scottish Power plans 100 MW green hydrogen hub in UK
Scottish Power and Hutchinson Ports revealed on Tuesday their plan to open a green hydrogen fuels hub at the Port of Felixstowe – the UK’s busiest freight port, Kallanish reports.
The 100-megawatt facility would produce up to 40 tonnes of green hydrogen per day, meeting demand for 1,300 hydrogen trucks. Scottish Power’s parent company Iberdrola said in a separate statement the €170 million ($174m) project would initially produce 14,000 t/ye…
