Vietnam eyes up to 500,000 t/y hydrogen production by 2030
Vietnam’s industry and trade ministry launched on Thursday the country’s hydrogen development strategy, following Prime Minister’s Pham Minh Chinh’s approval earlier in the month.
The country aims to produce 100,000-500,000 tonnes/year of renewable and low-carbon hydrogen by 2030. Under the strategy document, seen by Kallanish, production is planned to increase to 10-20 million t/y by 2050.
