Avebury nickel mine to restart from overhaul
The Avebury Nickel Mine in western Tasmania is preparing to restart production after a long maintenance since 2009, Kallanish notes.
Mallee Resources reports that the mine has changed into a operational mine site after payment of the required environmental bond and the submission of the requisite operational plans. Mining operations have commenced, with the first development cuts drilled and blasted, it says.
