Brazil's production, consumption drop in April

Brazil’s steel production and consumption fell sequentially in April, Kallanish notes. According to local steelmakers’ association Instituto Aço Brasil (IAB)’s latest report, Brazil’s April crude steel output was 2.92 million tonnes. This was 2.2% less over March and down 3.8% y-o-y.
