Danieli to supply Algoma’s new EAF facility
Danieli will be the supplier of Algoma Steel’s new EAFs in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, Canada, Kallanish reports.
The two new 250-short ton EAFs supplied by Danieli will have a combined annual steelmaking capacity of 3.7 million st and are expected to be operational early in 2024. Algoma manufactures hot and cold rolled sheet and plate products.
