Europe supports Turkey's March welded pipe exports rise
Turkish welded pipe exports rose in March as increased shipments to Europe mainly offset lower Middle East intake, led by a slump in shipments to Iraq, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish statistical data.
March exports of welded pipe went up 6.2% year-on-year to 170,834 tonnes. The overall average value/tonne of these exports increased to $794/tonne from $670/t a year earlier.
