French, Belgian stainless scrap prices recover slightly
Stainless steel scrap prices in France and Belgium are recovering slightly month-on-month mostly thanks to a shortage. Buying, however, continues to be dragged down by weak finished flat and long products demand in Europe. Values in other European countries, such as Italy, are also flat and aligned with French and Belgian contracts, Kallanish notes.
