Iron ore gains with economic support
Seaborne iron ore prices rebounded on Wednesday, even as the threat to the market from Covid grew.
The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index gained $7.58/t on Wednesday to $101.29/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao. The Kallanish KORE 65% Fe index was $7.78/t higher at $112.62/dmt cfr, and the KORE 58% Fe index increased $6.98/t to $88.2/dmt cfr. 90,000 tonnes of Yandi fines were sold at a floating price with a laycan between 11-20 December 2022…
