Kardemir promptly sells 25,000t of higher-priced rebar
Kardemir published a new price list and opened sales for rebar and wire rod on Wednesday, Kallanish notes.
Rebar in diameters of 12-32mm and 36-40mm was each increased by TRY 365/tonne ($12/t) to TRY 18,700/t and TRY 18,790/t, respectively, versus Kardemir’s previous list on 13 December 2023.
Prices for 5.5-56mm diameter wire rod have been increased by $15/t to $645-685/t, from Kardemir's previous list on 4 January.
