LatAm November crude steel production improves sequentially: worldsteel
South American and Mexican crude steel production rose month-on-month but was weaker year-on-year in November, according to the latest worldsteel data monitored by Kallanish.
South American crude steel output totalled 3.49 million tonnes in November, up 15,000t m-o-m but 0.6% less compared with 3.51mt in the same period in 2022. Eleven-month crude steel production amounted to almost 38.3mt, a decline of 6% compared with January-November 2022.
