US rebar prices hold this week

Rebar's spot pricing in the US remains flat this week after increasing by $10/short during the previous week in response to an earlier price hike by Nucor, Commercial Metals Company, and Gerdau of $50/st.
A Northeastern distributor says that "rebar [spot] prices are the same as last week." However, he predicts that "pricing may increase again soon" as domestic scrap prices continue to rise.
