Ramadan sentiment subdues Saudi rebar market
Saudi Arabian mills have lowered their rebar prices slightly, by SAR 15/tonne ($4), compared to last week due to the relatively low demand typical of Ramadan.
Tier-three mills in Riyadh and Jeddah reduced their ex-mill prices to SAR 2,115-2,120/t for large volumes from their list prices of SAR 2,130-2,150/t set at the start of the month, notes Kallanish.
