Soft US construction spending, but contractors remain confident
US non-residential construction spending slipped 1% in February from January levels, Kallanish discovers from Census Bureau data.
Monthly non-residential spending totalled $1.18 trillion on a seasonally adjusted annualised basis in February. Spending levels decreased in 15 of the 16 analysed non-residential construction sub-sectors (see Kallanish 02 April newsletter).
