South Africa's steelmaking minerals exports, production grow
South Africa's steelmaking raw materials output and exports trended up in February and January-February. However, manganese ore production and exports each increased in February against January but declined on-year, notes Kallanish.
The country's iron ore output increased by 3.3% on-month in February and soared 42.8% on-year to 5.93 million tonnes. Two-month production surged 24.4% on-year to 11.67mt from 9.37mt recorded in the same period a year earlier. …
