Taiwanese scrap prices diverge

Imported scrap prices in Taiwan have continued to firm up this week on the back of a pick-up in the global market, but domestic values have fallen on weak steel demand. Kallanish assessed HMS 1&2 80:20 container scrap at $365/tonne cfr Taiwan, up $2.5/t on-week.
