Thyssenkrupp Electrical Steel supplies to Siemens wind turbines
Thyssenkrupp Electrical Steel says it has received a major order from Siemens Energy for its “bluemint powercore” steels, Kallanish notes.
It will equip around 700 transformers in offshore wind turbines belonging to Siemens’ wind business Siemens Gamesa. This is the largest order so far for bluemint powercore.
