UK manufacturing activity slumps as expected in April
UK manufacturing activity slumped to a record-low in April according to the latest survey by IHS Markit/CIPS monitored by Kallanish. Business sentiment remains close to record lows and supplier lead times have lengthened to a series record, Markit/CIPS says.
