US scrap market prepares for another sharp rise
Following surging values in March, the US scrap market is seen preparing for another sharp rise in April trading amid the Ukraine war.
The sharp rise in pig iron prices due to the interruption of CIS supply is seen lifting scrap prices, especially for prime grades. Prices are also expected to find support from rising finished steel values and improving order books.
