Dom Yanchunas arrives with 28 years of journalism experience, most of it in business/financial roles especially metals, industrial supply chain and transportation. From 2016 to 2022, he covered the North American steel beat at Fastmarkets (previously known as American Metal Market), where he was senior price reporter. Dom first entered the hard commodities space in 2005 as a contributing writer and editor with COINage magazine, covering precious metals and base metals. Later he was editor-in-chief at Professional Mariner magazine. Dom was national president at the 1,800-member American Society of Business Publication Editors from 2017 to 2019 and remains an active board member in the society's New York chapter. He is also a member of the New York Press Club.
