14 states join fight against EPA orders on Alaska's Pebble copper mine
Fourteen states have joined British Columbia-based Northern Dynasty Minerals to strongly oppose the US Environmental Protection Agency’s proposed veto of the Pebble copper-molybdenum mine in Alaska, Kallanish reports.
The states called the EPA’s proposed action an unprecedented abuse of power and a massive overreach by the EPA and say the action would have major implications for the future by setting a dangerous precedent.
