ABB, Rina, Wärtsilä team up for hydrogen marine fuel
Wärtsilä Marine Power is joining forces with ABB, Italian certification body RINA, Metacon AB’s subsidiary Helbio and the Liberian Registry to develop a system for the use of hydrogen as a marine fuel.
The project, to be implemented in a relatively short time, frame aims at combining LNG with steam to produce hydrogen and CO2.
