Air Liquide, Siemens launch electrolyser factory in Germany
Air Liquide and Siemens Energy on Wednesday inaugurated their new gigawatt electrolyser factory in Berlin, Germany, Kallanish finds.
The factory, spread over 2,000 square meters, is expected to have a production capacity of 3 gigawatts/year by 2025, the companies said in separate statements. Using automation and robotics, the facility will focus on serial production of proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyser modules, starting with 1 GW in 2023.
