Airbus gets one step closer to hydrogen-powered flights
Airbus and Safran’s joint venture ArianeGroup has successfully tested, at its French facility in Vernon, a hydrogen conditioning system concept that supplies an aeronautical gas turbine, Kallanish learns.
The test was the final part of the HyPERION pilot project led by Safran in partnership with Airbus and ArianeGroup, which sought to develop environmentally responsible aviation propulsion using hydrogen.
