Aker Horizons inks renewables PPA for 600-MW green ammonia plant
Norwegian companies Aker Horizons and Statkfraft have signed a 10-year power purchase agreement (PPA) to run a large-scale green ammonia plant in Narvik, northern Norway, Kallanish reports.
Under the undisclosed deal, Statkraft will provide a “significant amount” of renewable energy starting in 2028. The contract, closed at “competitive prices,” remains subject to Aker Horizons taking a final investment decision (FID) on the project.
