Albemarle's 2023 revenues boosted by 35% growth in lithium volumes
US lithium producer Albemarle reported on Wednesday a 31% on-year increase in its 2023 net sales to $9.6 billion, boosted by a 35% rise in its lithium sales volume, Kallanish reports.
The net revenue performance last year was the highest in the company’s history, while its income was the second highest to date. Albemarle posted a net profit of $1.57 billion in 2023, which is 42% lower than the $2.69 billion in 2022.
